Meet the Coaches
Academic coaches are academic advisors who volunteer to participate in the Transfer Success Program (TSP). Each coach is from one of the six colleges. Coaches are paired with students from within their college during the breakout session (small group) portion of the workshop. This allows for the students to connect early on with their major advisor as well as have any major specific questions answered. In addition, members from the TSP Committee also co-coach alongside with major advisors to help with additional support. The TSP committee is made up of staff and faculty from departments all around campus including Career Services, New Student and Transition Programs, Student Academic Services, University Housing, College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences, College of Architecture and Environmental Design, College of Engineering, Multicultural Engineering Program, College of Liberal Arts, College of Science and Mathematics, Orfalea College of Business, and the Mustang Success Center.
